Viraj Tyagi is a Global Alliance Leader of Oncology Precision Medicine & Diagnostics at Johnson & Johnson, where he leads the partnering team that drive collaborations, governance, and tools to advance J&Js extensive oncology portfolio. Prior to joining J&J in 2024, Viraj held leadership roles at Alnylam (Senior Director – Business Strategy & Operations) where he led several critical organizational capability-building initiatives, at Takeda (Director of Partnerships) where he helped establish the partnership office and write the partnering playbook while leading Cell & Gene Therapy Alliances, and Novartis where he spent almost a decade in a variety of roles spanning Business development and Portfolio Management. The opportunity for strategic & mutual benefit between two organizations that leads to better and faster therapies for patients that are waiting is what drives him.
