Matthew G Hanna, MD is the Vice Chair of Pathology Informatics at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). Dr Hanna serves on the UPMC Computational Pathology & AI Center of Excellence (CPACE) Director of AI Operations. He is an internationally recognized leader in digital and computational pathology, with a focus on translating digital operations and artificial intelligence into routine clinical practice. Dr Hanna serves on the Executive Board of the Digital Pathology Association. He also actively contributes as a member of the CAP as the Chair of the Artificial Intelligence Committee and member of the Council of Informatics and Pathology Innovation. His clinical interests include breast pathology, informatics, digital pathology, image analysis, machine learning, clinical operations/implementation, and decision support tools.
