Marshall Thompson

Marshall Thompson, Ph.D., is the Chief Technology Officer for RCRF, where he applies cutting-edge software practices to genomic-scale biological problems.
Marshall has a wealth of experience in the software and business industry, with skills in software architecture and development, consulting, product development, technical marketing, sales engineering, support, and support management. In addition, Marshall has a passion for science and engineering education, mentorship, and business leadership. Marshall has held various positions throughout his career, including work at the Parker Institute of Cancer Immunotherapy, OxfordVR, and Cognitect.
He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of New Mexico, where he earned degrees in Biology and Computer Science. Marshall then went on to earn a Ph.D. in Genetics and Genomics from Duke University.
