Emanuele De Rinaldis
Vice President & Global Head, Target, Diseases & Systems Biology Sanofi
Emanuele de Rinaldis is the Global Head of Target, Diseases & Systems Biology at Sanofi, where he leads teams leveraging human genetics, clinical data, multi-omics, and functional genomics to establish causal disease biology and translate these insights into therapeutic targets, biomarkers, and patient-stratification strategies across discovery and clinical development.
He built and led global multidisciplinary organizations spanning functional genomics, multi-cellular disease models, disease profiling, computational biology, and data science to convert complex biological evidence into actionable therapeutic hypotheses and development strategies across Oncology, Immunology, and Neurology.
Extensive experience advancing programs from discovery into preclinical and clinical development, including target identification and validation, biomarker strategy, and patient stratification. Author of 75+ peer-reviewed publications, including Nature Genetics, Nature Communications, Blood, Immunity, and The Lancet.
